FAQ

How do I get there?

The venue is located near Avignon and is easily accessible by several routes:

  • From Paris: Fly into Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG) and take the TGV high-speed train directly to Avignon TGV station. The journey takes around 3 hours and trains run several times daily.
  • From Marseille: Marseille-Provence Airport (MRS) is the closest major international airport, about an hour from the venue by car or train.
  • From Lyon: Lyon Saint-Exupéry Airport offers a 1-hour TGV connection to Avignon.

From Avignon TGV station, the château is just a 20-minute taxi ride away.

What should I wear?

We suggest semi-formal / garden party attire. Think elegant but comfortable - you'll be enjoying cocktails on the lawn with a live band before moving indoors for dinner and dancing.

Ladies, please note that parts of the venue have grass and gravel paths, so consider wedges or block heels rather than stilettos. Gentlemen, please wear a suit jacket.

Evenings can be cooler, so we recommend bringing a light layer or wrap.

What will the weather be like?

Late September in Provence is typically lovely - warm sunny days averaging around 24°C (75°F) with cooler evenings dropping to around 14°C (57°F).

Packing tips:

  • Light layers for temperature changes between day and evening
  • Comfortable shoes for outdoor spaces
  • Sunglasses and sunscreen for daytime activities
  • A light jacket or wrap for evenings
  • Swimwear - the farewell brunch will be by the pool and we welcome guests to take a dip

What amenities are on-site?

The château offers wonderful amenities for you to enjoy during your stay:

  • Two heated swimming pools - perfect for relaxing before or after the festivities
  • Outdoor hot tub - seats 7 people
  • Tennis court - the venue has rackets available, but feel free to bring your own
  • Beautiful gardens - manicured lawns, vine terraces, and pine-lined paths to explore

Feel free to make the most of these during your stay.

Places to explore before or after the wedding

Provence and the South of France offer so much to explore. Some highlights near the venue:

  • Avignon (20 min) - The famous Palais des Papes, Pont d'Avignon, and charming old town
  • Châteauneuf-du-Pape (15 min) - World-renowned wine region with tastings and vineyard tours
  • Luberon villages (45 min) - Picturesque hilltop villages like Gordes, Roussillon, and Ménerbes
  • Arles (40 min) - Roman ruins and Van Gogh's beloved landscapes
  • Marseille (1 hour) - Vibrant port city with excellent seafood and the stunning Calanques
  • Nice & Cannes (2.5 hours) - The glamorous French Riviera with beautiful beaches and the famous Promenade des Anglais

What about gifts?

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for. We are so grateful that you will be joining us for this special celebration in France.

We truly do not expect any gifts. If you wish to do something, we would love for you to visit us in NYC or have a shared experience together.
